This site is a tribute to Trevor Bainbridge who died peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer. We would like to thank all of you for the kind thoughts, visits and messages that were such a comfort to him and his family in the final weeks and months of his illness.
Trevor was born in London on 5th October 1939 and died in Barnet on 13th January 2022. He was a devoted and loyal husband and a wonderful father and grandfather to 4 sons and 6 grandchildren. He will also be remembered by many for the incredible contribution he made as a teacher, deputy headteacher and headteacher at Littlegrove School, Cromer Road School, Courtland School and Moss Hall Junior School during a career spanning almost 40 years. A talented musician and a gifted raconteur, Trevor always had time for others and was a genuinely kind and considerate gentleman in every sense of the word.
Trevor is much loved and will always be remembered. Rest in peace.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time teaching at Moss Hall as Trevor was a great head and a lovely man.
My memories of Trevor are distant but the times with him that I shared with the members of he group he was in at at Trent Park are as if yesterday.
In memory of Trevor, our very dear friend.
